Data and methodology
Searches use a local catalogue; device location is not requested. Session storage holds forecasts and language preferences. Hostinger hosts the site and may keep technical access logs. Weather requests pass through our server; the local preview contacts MET Norway directly. Contact email is handled by Gmail.
The person identified above is the controller. Sender address, supplied name and email content are used to answer voluntary enquiries. Technical logs may contain IP, URL, time, browser and errors. Replies and security rely on legitimate interests (GDPR 6.1.f). Without contact details we cannot reply. No profiling or automated decisions with legal effects. Emails are deleted after resolving the enquiry except for restricted retention required by law or claims. Technical logs follow security and incident needs and hosting terms. Session storage can be cleared in the browser; restoration may prolong it. Use the contacts above for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where applicable; any consent can be withdrawn without retrospective effect. Complain to the Spanish AEPD or your competent authority. Hostinger and Google/Gmail may use infrastructure outside the EEA; linked policies describe transfer safeguards. Ask the controller for retention details or copies of applicable safeguards.
Advertising and cookies
Clima Europa is prepared to use Google AdSense to fund the service. Ad serving depends on Google approval. Google and its vendors may process IP addresses, identifiers, device data and activity to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and, with consent, personalize advertising. Google’s CMP offers consent, refusal and options management. Use the privacy and cookie settings link at the bottom of pages with ads to change or withdraw consent. Refusing personalization does not necessarily remove all advertising.
How advertising information is used
Google AdSense and vendors listed in the consent message may store or access cookies and identifiers, receive IP addresses, browser and device characteristics, visited pages and ad interactions. Manage options lists specific purposes, vendors, legal bases and storage periods. Some purposes may rely on legitimate interests where applicable, with a right to object. Non-essential device access and personalization requiring consent rely on consent (GDPR Article 6.1.a). This website does not request precise device location.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we use Google’s European regulations CMP message. You may accept, refuse or manage choices and later withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Non-personalized or limited ads can still involve delivery, security or measurement data under the applicable settings; they are not necessarily free of data processing.
Google and vendors may process data outside the EEA under safeguards described in their policies. The CMP lists vendors and retention periods. You can request details from the controller, exercise the rights on this page or complain to your supervisory authority. Advertising retention varies by vendor and purpose and is separate from weather session caching.
Privacy and cookie settings are available on pages where Google provides the message. A missing link can mean the CMP is unavailable, ads are not approved yet or a blocker prevents loading. Its absence is not consent. You can clear browser storage and contact us.

The Spanish contact form sends your name, email and message through Hostinger mail to Gmail to answer your enquiry under the legitimate interest described above. No marketing or attachments. A necessary session cookie protects submission; hashed IP abuse counters expire within 24 hours. Messages are not stored in public files or a website database. Received emails follow the enquiry retention policy above.
